House Marketing created a complete property marketing solution for the new Merlin Rise scheme by leading south west property developer Backhouse.
House Marketing created a launch marketing solution incorporating the full visual identity and story for the Merlin Rise scheme. The Merlin Rise scheme is located in the beautiful market town of Calne in Wiltshire. It offers 21 three to five bedroom family homes designed to create interesting and liveable new homes for today’s contemporary lifestyles whilst respecting the existing environment and local communities. We began by creating the logo for the scheme. The logo was designed to fit in with the existing suite of scheme logos with a view to enhancing brand recognition for Backhouse schemes within the South West of England.
The marketing materials were then designed and copywritten to appeal to the target market. A brochure printed with a textured tactile blue cover was designed to reflect the quality of the construction materials in the high quality print materials. The brochure was designed to map the sales process to allow the sales executives to walk a customer through the scheme in a logical manner, introducing the location and its amenities, followed by the scheme itself, the properties and finally providing the developer story.
House Marketing carefully crafted computer generated images (CGIs) to show off the beautifully designed homes with their traditional materials sympathetic to the surrounding architecture within the town. The CGIs made particular use of a variety of times of day providing moody and mystical night scenes in combination with vibrant and bright day time scenes. The CGI team also created an isometric style site plan to give an impression of the substantial gardens and space.
House Marketing also created a website for the scheme which will be launched at the end of January. The website design was carefully considered to map the brochure and sales process again. The website is designed to take customers on a journey through the scheme with opportunities to enquire and request viewings throughout the journey.
To complete the package, House Marketing dressed the scheme with signage and flags with a view to attracting local attention for the site by making its boundary as prominent as possible.
Said Jeremy Hinton of House Marketing, “This is a truly fantastic and well considered scheme by Backhouse with the utmost attention to detail in the design of the development, the selection of materials and the approach to customer care. We needed to ensure that the marketing reflected and showed the same care and attention as the scheme itself. We are very pleased to have created a cohesive and design-led solution for the Merlin Rise scheme.”
