House Marketing are pleased to have produced the design and artwork of a consortium sign for Vistry Group and Taylor Wimpey for their joint Orchard Grove development in Comeytrowe, Somerset.
Vistry Group (and its sub-brands Linden Homes and Bovis Homes) and Taylor Wimpey were working in collaboration to develop a new scheme in Somerset. Our brief was to create signage hat could be used across three brands without alluding to any of their individual branding styles. Our talented in-house design team initially reviewed the colours we could use from a colour wheel to create a sign that didn’t conflict with any of the three developer’s individual colours. We decided to go for strong bright colours and black / dark grey design options as these didn’t clash with any of the existing brand identities of the three developers.
We produced an initial design presentation with a suggested name included, which was then chosen as the final site name. Through dialogue between our team and the client, we further developed the signage design taking into account their comments. The result was a dark grey sign, with statement green, white and light blue text. Space around the developer’s logo and contact information resulted in a sophisticated design that was clear and concise to read.
We are pleased to have supported Vistry Group and Taylor Wimpey with the site branding and design for Orchard Grove and look forward to assisting them with further marketing for this scheme in the near future.
