When Fairview New Homes decided to hold an event to promote the last of the available units at its NewHayes scheme, they asked House Marketing to create a Local Area Guide for Hayes to provide customers with insights into the lifestyle on offer for residents.
The document needed to be succinct and clear with easy to digest information about the local area. It was designed as a ‘soft-sell’ to show customers the benefits to living in Hayes. It was also intended as a hand-out, so needed to be physically small in size. We therefore created an A5 brochure to fit the brief.
We began by defining the pagination and content structure. We established what information we wanted to impart that would be beneficial for potential residents of the NewHayes scheme. We explored local attractions as well as the amenities that people would access day-to-day from supermarkets to schools. With a significant regeneration programme being undertaken in Hayes, we also set out what Hayes may look like in a few years with new features and attractions.
The brochure was centered around a map of the local area which set out the locations of the features with further information available throughout the booklet.
